About
Erik was born in Buffalo Grove, Illinois and graduated from Devry Institute of Technology with a degree in Computer Science. After graduation his passion for technology brought him to Austin, where he worked for several technology companies to expand, develop, and innovate online and in-house processes. Erik currently works for an online company as the Director of Technology, working from home and enjoying work/life balance. Always one to march to the beat of his own drum, Erik loves all things technical and enjoys creating apps, flying his drone, and motorcycling. His love for his family and student-led learning inspired him to co-found the Great Minds Learning Community with Deanne.
